- About the park
-
Vesey Park Public Open Space is named in honour of John Vesey, the 16th Century Bishop of Exeter and Sutton Coldfield’s biggest benefactor who dedicated his life to improving the town.
The small, pretty park on the edge of the town is former farmland that was secured for public use when the nearby housing developments were built.
The grassed area has trees dotted around its edges and features a small, bright wildflower meadow in one corner. A wooded area at the back of the site has some more mature trees.
